Reveal in XYplorer system call doesn't jump to/scroll to/select the revealed item, it just opens the containing folder

If you set XYplorer to be your default file manager (via the shell integration menu), it kind of breaks the "reveal in file explorer" system command. If you right-click a start menu shortcut > More > Open file location, it opens the containing folder in a new tab, but it doesn't scroll to or select the item. At least on my end, that's the case.
This issue is especially aggravated when revealing items in folders with many contents, e.g., the temp folder. This happens when I use Firefox all the time. I download a file and open it in Firefox. It's saved to the temp folder. Later I realize I need the file permanently. I open the downloads panel, right click the item, click "Show in folder." All this gives me is a folder with literally over 3,000 items. In order to find the actual file I need to start typing its name.
It's not Firefox's fault, of course — this happens no matter what I use to jump to a file. The only way it jumps to the file correctly is if I do it from within XYplorer, e.g., with the "Go to shortcut target" command. So it seems like an XYplorer bug. I've been using this app for a few years now and have noticed it for a long time. I wish I reported it sooner, since it means XYplorer isn't a complete substitute for File Explorer, but there isn't really an option to "reveal in file explorer with..." where I can choose to use File Explorer on an individual basis. So I guess the only options are to manually search for the file you were trying to automatically locate; or disable the integration altogether. I think the former is definitely preferable but still frustrating.
Thanks!
