USB Mass Storage Problems

Hello,
i really love XYplorer but there is one thing that keeps bugging me.
Whenever i stick
any USB Mass Storage device (doenst matter it its my SD Card Reader or my portable HDD) XYplorer shows them when i click on "My Computer" but it wont show up in the tree.
And if I try to open the device I get a strange error. Since that is all hard to describe i've made a screenshot
When I restart XYplorer after plugging in a USB device everything works fine.

Hi and welcome to the XY forums!
Sorry to hear about your problems! I've had, on occasion, a couple of issues also with XY not properly recognizing a USB thumb drive but have not seen the error msg you're getting...when I plug my external HDD or thumb drive or SD reader in, I find that it helps to do a "Rebuild Tree" within the View menu...and sometimes, it also helps to do a quick access to that device via Win Expl first.
What OS are you using? Not sure if that matters, but always good to know.

Hi!
Do you have Auto-Refresh enabled (in menu View)?

Yes, it is.
As well as "Suspend Auto-Refresh".

Suspend Auto-Refresh should be off (unticked).

Okay, in that case XYplorer is not getting a message. You got to add it manually: F4 should do, or Ctrl+Shift+F4.

Thanks, Ctrl+Shift+F4 makes it work.
Btw the "Suspend Auto-Refresh" is not checked when i work with XYplorer, but when i plug in any of the devices it is checked automatically.
