Auto Refresh not working in inactive pane

In v22.30.0103, there seems to be a bug where Auto Refresh does not work in the inactive pane.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Enable Dual Pane and ensure that both panes are pointing to the same folder.
2. Disable Dual Pane.
3. Delete a file. Or create a new one (e.g. Ctrl+Shift+N to create a blank text file) and then delete it.
4. Activate Dual Pane mode.
You will see the file you deleted is still showing in the inactive pane.
Making the other pane active does not correct the issue either until you manually refresh (F5).
