a more powerfull auto config backup

Hi
I know there is a auto backup featue in preferences startup and exit Backup settings on save
i would love an auto config backup every x days or before an update , with the date of the backup , a subfolder with the date and file backup inside
in short ,a more powerfull backup system
would be a great feature
the file/files could be compressed too
could be implemented ?
