How do tabsets work?

Hi everyone, can someone please tell me if there's something I'm not understanding about tabsets? Is this expected behaviour? After restarting XYplorer, selecting "Revert to saved" changes the tabs to the tabs that were open when I closed XYplorer, not to the tabs I saved in the tabset. Also, I set my tabsets up with no tab history but tab history also gets saved when XYplorer is closed. I do not have auto-save on. TIA
