How do I have colorful emoji in file list?

Hi,

For example, I am using "✨" in the file name

I understand that for the same font, some Software would show colorful version of the emoji, while other shows monochrome ones.
eg.
the aforementioned "✨" is shown as colorful in VSCode,
while shown as monochrome in Sublime TextEditor, or Native FileExplorer, or Native Notepad

wonder if there are any magical switch(configuration or workaround) to do this?

(also, how do application software decide if they show colorful/monochrome?
(I understand it is not appropriate to ask here...

I would have assumed that this would be impossible. A google search shows the answer though... While typing the name, press Win+. (Win key + dot)

EDIT: Maybe not .... If I add an emoji in Windows Explorer, I can view it in xyplorer, but if I try to add it from xy, it does not work.
