After the prompt for the name there comes no UAC (required for a symlink)
nor any other error message.

Sorry I didn't check it first, If XY is running as an Administrator, then "Paste As Symbolic Link(s)" works on Win10

In this case XY should try it with enhanced rights.
The UAC prompt will come and the operation continues.
