I've found it would be convenient to be able to, having started a background copy task, pause this task and return it to the queue to wait for all other tasks to finish.

It might be useful to be able to change the order of the tasks in the queue.

You can pause a queue: Yes, it can be helpful to rearrange the order of the tasks in the queue. However, this is not planned for the near future.
