Then why would I be asking for it? 
Opening 60 folders in "Branch view", filtering on one particular filename, sort on it, and the paths seem to be in random order.

OK, saw it when you sort by Name. I guess that's what you do.

I am indeed sorting by name, should have mentioned that in the initial post, Entschudigung...
