I just want to let the admin know that when 'Show info tips only when hovering file icon is selected' no longer works. If you can please fix this bug.

Nothing to fix, here it still works with this setting.

Not true. It does not work.

For me, it does not work.

On Windows 8.1 it does not work. Whether I hover on the icon itself or the file name the info tips still appears.

Can you show your settings like Horst did?

I duplicated PaperBoy's Configuration settings, at least for those shown, and I'm getting file Info Tips on the file icons. So something else must be awry.

But what about when you move the cursor on the file name itself? For me, it makes no difference whether I move the cursor on the file icon or the file name itself! I never had this problem with older versions of XYplorer. I think this bug was introduced in version 21.70.0000 or later.

Yes, you are right, I'm getting Info Tips on the filename as well as the icon with that configuration. My normal setup is the Hover Box on the Icon and File Info on the filename. Sherlock Holmes (aka Don) you may want to investigate. The File Info Tips "only on icon" is broken with PaperBoy's configuration. Same with Beta 21.80.0102.

Are we talking about Details view? Because in Tiles/Thumbnails view things are a bit different...

It's still not fixed in v21.90.

When I move my mouse over the file list, files are being accessed/opened for preview. Because a lot of these files are on remote servers, downloads are started for very big files which means I have to stop that and forcibly crash Xyplorer in the task manager.

Please do not show previews when moving the mouse over files in the file list! ONLY when hovering over the icon or when keeping a mouse button pressed while over the file icon.
