Miller columns. Not a fan of them.

try Tree + Tree path tracing + Breadcrumb. yeap, it's not same realisation, but rather close in aspect of tracking you diving deep in structure, and jumping back and forward.

it seems that the main advantage of miller columns is the ability to work between many panes at once. but instead of miller columns, i think a better idea would be to just have the ability to have many panes, with a feature to "add new pane" as needed.
