Filter out files (by selected extension) from List View

Unless I have missed seeing this...

Option to exclude files from List View - eg files of certain extensions (.mpz or other user selected).

Whether to just not display these files (or print out as very light grey) - which ever is easiest to code.

The excluded list files would still be present in the folder - just not clearly visible when viewing the listing of the folder.

Select one of the files you want to filter out and do View | Tab | Filter Out Selected Extension(s) (Ctrl+Shift+Alt+J).

Ctrl+Shift+Alt+J = Filter out by selected extension(s)

You have a "Set Visual Filter" button by default in the toolbar. Right click it to see these possibilites...

I tried the steps as above and it does work (delete from display).

Windows 10 (when configured) showed certain files in BLUE.
It would be useful to be able to display e.g. *.mpz files as say YELLOW. This may be better for me than actually removing files from display as originally requested.

I tried setting the text color and using with the filter by extension - but this combo did not work for me (to colorize eg all *.mpz files to say a RED color). I may not have understood how to do this combination.

Color Filters (Configuration) works for me - by adding a new line with non-standard extension (such as *.mpz and I chose a very light grey text).

Thank you everyone.
