Idea:

This function allows you to locate and go very quickly to the list of storage units, without the need to scan vertically, each time you locate a unit it is positioned on the left side.

Do you know about the drives button on the toolbar?

Yes, but it is not very practical, it takes up a lot of space on the toolbar and more when there are several storage units
Also, if the list is embedded within the tree horizontally, it creates a new two-dimensional XY scan exploration, no browser has this 2D scanning feature.

The drives button I'm talking about is just one button and once you click it, you get a vertical list of all your drives.
Anyway, it seems you don't like that idea, so good luck.

I already found the button that vertically displayed all found units, but my idea is outside the toolbar.
Vertical both horizontal scan on tree panel, of course it is an option made by configuration, not an imposition
Does anyone find this idea practical?

The idea will not survive a longer item name.
