Hello,

On one of my computer running Windows XP SP3, XYcopy.exe (not XYplorer.exe) crash from time to time when I move or copy files to and from USB memory sticks but never with external hard drives.
As the crash happen aleatory 2 or 3 time every 2 months, I can't reproduce the issue.

Here what happen:

1. the window of XYcopy.exe freeze
2. the process XYcopy.exe can't be terminate by the task manager
3. I must restart the computer

My windows configuration is unusual:

XP SP3 32 bits + 8 GB of RAM

This issue never happen on my others computers running XP with 4 or less GB of RAM.

I don't know if this issue comes from XYcopy.exe or not, I just want to report it.

And who should debug or resolve such sporadic problem for this OS which is more than outdated and unsupported ?

Given that nobody else seems to experience such crashes it is likely to be connected to your particular system in some way. There is not much I can do about it.
