The command "Go/Previous Path" doesn't work anymore, neither with the menu command nor via F7.

Not easy to reproduce

Probably you are jumping back and fore between the same locations -> watch the Go menu checkmarks...

I managed to reproduce and fix it

Go/Previous Path (F7)
