i have this super important folder which i want to keep track of and know what has changed. I would like XY to watch this folder and log any majaor activity (mainly copying, moving/deleting, creating and modifying) into a text file. I dont care about sorts, filters, searches etc i have done on this folder.

Will anybody else find this useful?

@Don: Do you think this is possible? because folder's history is something i am very interested in.

Would be possible. "Modifying" is harder, the rest is easy. But there should be a software out there that can do this. It's a nice closed task. You don't even need an interface for it. Could be a shell extension.

I was looking for free ones and found BeeWatcher to be good and fits my need. Others i tried were either an overkill or were sharewares.
