Scripting: new command showtab

I think a new command to activate a tab would be nice. It should get a number as parameter, which would be the "index", I mean the same number we get on Tab List.
But even better would be that if the param is quoted, or in between square brackets to keep with the sel command, then in the same way it would be a mask to match the tab titles, or locations when there's no title.
Also, if the param is * then it would activate the default tab (if any, or else no change).
