Can mouse clicks be used as Keyboard Shortcuts?

I was wondering if mouse clicks in combination with SHIFT or CTRL could be used as Keyboard Shortcuts?

In theory yes, but in XY not. :)

that would be the revolution of file-managing, maybe sometime we can use mouse-gestures as hotkeys, link the opera to close/open tabs, navigate, etc...

Would that be a possible feature for the furure?
