I successfully used this Forum to learn how to replicate the Windows Explorer Quick Access Folders by using "Links" in XY Explorer. Thanks to everyone for those posts which saved me time (I couldn't figure it out intuitively).

However, I have a problem that I can't fix by trial and error or don't know what to look for in the Configuration menu.

When I click a "Link" to my favourite folders in XY Explorer, the folder tree on the left hand side then jumps to the actual folder with the expanded location. So in other words the list physically jumps down the page and the links remain all the way at the top.

Is there a way that I can PERMANENTLY only show "Links" or my favourite folders in the left hand tree display without showing me the full tree of the actual folder.

What I am trying to do is achieve my utopia of having Windows Explorer with an unlimited Quick Access Folder list showing on the left hand tree!

Switch to a locked mini tree and hide all other folders than "Links" afterwards

Menu - View - Mini Tree - [x] Mini Tree
Menu - View - [x] Lock Tree

Now right click all unnecessary folders in the tree - Hide Folder from Mini Tree
or alternatively, execute this from the address bar: loadtree "Links";

Save settings!

That was great, thanks. I would never have figured that out!

Two more sub-questions to the original question:

1. Is there any way to be able to sort the order of folders that I add to "Links" how I want?
2. Is it possible to create additional "Links" groups e.g "Banking", "Work" etc?

Neither, nor. They are just .lnk files from %userprofile%\Links that are displayed here
