Assuming you are talking about text files, the same switch that controls the preview panel applies to the preview pane, so with a text file selected, press Ctrl+4 (assuming you haven't changed the default keyboard shortcut) and tick the word wrap checkbox, or alternatively, open the info panel preview tab manually, and tick the checkbox.
