Context menu on selected row (behavior changed?)

I've been using XY for many years, and I'm now seeing behavior I don't recall before... so either I'm old and approaching senility (well, I am), or, maybe something changed not very long ago... (?)

I'm pretty sure that in the past, when I've right clicked a given column in list view when that row was selected, that I got the field-specific context menu, e.g. rating, tags, comments, custom columns... however, for some time now, if I right click such a column on a row that is already selected, I no longer get the expected column-specific context menu, rather I get the default Windows Explorer context menu. This ONLY happens on selected (highlighted) rows. Right clicking such a column in a NON-selected row works fine. Did something change? I tried to capture what I am describing here:

Ah, "Full Row Select" is the culprit, as mentioned here.

I've had "Full Row Select" enabled for quite some time, but I think this behavior is changed. Regardless, my workaround, as in the above thread, is turn off FRS.
