Please Add a Previewed Format - M2V

We have .m1v and .mpv2, but almost all of my programs that output elementary mpeg video and audio streams output with an .m2v extension.

If a user has a software DVD player installed on their system, or a video editing program that installs an mpeg video decoder at the system level, then Windows Media Player can play an .m2v file.

I've been working mostly with .avi files and .mov files the past couple of weeks, but .m2v files are usually a staple of my DVD authoring efforts.

Thanks,
-Jeff

*.m2v is indeed a common format and should probably be added yes, but in the mean time you can to do it yourself, and it'll work just as good, using INI Tweak MediaPreviewCustomExtensions

That worked well, thank you. I never thought that it could be so easy - just an .ini tweak. That's why I never checked the wiki. Thanks for the link!
