Copy/Move Here As (with Suffix) - Selection

If I drag & drop a file from one tab to another and choose "Copy Here" or "Move Here" or "Backup Here" the file is auto-selected afterwards (as it is now with "Copy/Move Here To New Subfolder ;-)).

Wouldn't it be more coherent if the same would be true for "Copy/Move Here with Suffix (Number/Date Now/Date Modified)" and "Copy/Move Here As"? In fact "Copy/Move Here with Suffix Number" already works this way.

Currently the only case where the file is auto-selected it when its name does not change.

Now I could auto-select the new files in all cases but one: with "Copy/Move Here" it's Windows who decides the new name. And it does not tell me about it!

So you would prefer to keep it as it is?
Of course, if no second fool () wants the file to be auto-selected, it's better not to change it. It's nothing very important.

I use these functions to make quick backups of files I'm about to modify. I need the source file to keep the selection because my next action is to open it.

Now in the case the target directory is different from the source dir, AND the target directory ís the current one, then selecting would make sense. Right?

Yes, exactly. My wish refers solely to this situation.
