Space-efficient info panel

The info panel has a lot of fixed size content that can cause problems on low horizontal resolutions. E.g. on my 1080p screen in landscape mode, I cannot use the search (find files) because the 'find files' button and the search filters don't fit on the screen.
However, there is a lot of wasted screen real estate, that could easily fix this (not very common?) problem.
Take a look at the 'Tags' filter:
1) The input fields in the middle are (too) wide, and have a fixed size.
2) There is a lot of empty space between the input fields and the tick mark labels to the left.
3) The buttons to the right of the input fields are much wider than their labels.
Could a fix for this be something to make XYplorer even "more better" than any other file explorer?
