Add an option so that when using type-ahead, pressing down or up arrow will jump to the next or previous match.

Not possible (arrow keys) and . and , are already bound to these jump commands

Open Menu > Tools > Customize Keyboard Shortcuts...
Click on the "Jump..." button. Find these two commands in the opened list (use the search bar):
Miscellaneous | Focus Functions | Next Type Ahead Match
Miscellaneous | Focus Functions | Previous Type Ahead Match
Double click on each and assign appropriate shortcuts. Arrow Keys alone are not reassignable, but you can assign whatever else you think is approprate.
