context menu Properties and Alt-Enter inconsistent behaviour

When multiple items are selected, right-click context menu Properties brings up a dialog showing common properties of the items selected (this is correct, this is what I want, this is what Windows Explorer does too), but when I press Alt-Enter, the Properties dialog shows properties of only one of the items.
Did you not see this very recent thread about what seems to be the same issue?
