Rename several files individually in permanent F2-modus

Previously it was possible to rename files in details view by marking the uppermost file I wished to rename, pressing F2, and then to move downwards in the list of files in F2-rename-modus by using the downward arrow key. I recently discovered that in F2-rename-modus the downward key just moves the cursor sign to the end of the present file name, not to the file name below in the list. I cannot recall that I have filled in any setting in this respect. Any suggestions? (XYplorer version 19.40 and 19.50).

Many thanks! – I am a newbie, and guess the answer is obvious, but anyhow: Why is this behaviour not present in the navigation pane? Sometimes it would nice to have the behaviour present there as well, especially when I do not wish to interfere with a certain combination of folded/unfolded folders.

That's a much more unusual task IMO, that's why. :)
