saving emails: alternative to drag and drop?

I'd like to be able to save emails into the file system, and XY's drag and drop works for me. However I normally have my apps full screen, so the extra effort of making both XY and the email client visible at the same time makes drag and drop more trouble than saving direct from the email client.

Does XY offer any alternatives?

Alternatively, can I drag and drop without both apps being visible concurrently? (I use Windows 10. Dragging into the task bar icon didn't work.)

Thanks in advance.

When dragging on the taskbar icon you need to wait until XY pops to the foreground and then drop the email in the list pane or wherever you want to save it. The same is true the other way around when attaching files to emails.

Yes, that works well. Thanks Ralph.
