Is the Portable Version Really gonna Work Correctly?

Just thinking. If I have a portable version of XYplorer on my USB and I use it on different computers, can it distinguish different computers? For instance, the tags are stored in Data\tag.dat. If both computers have a file under the same path, say C:\file.txt, then if I add a tag in one computer and use XYplorer on the same USB on the other computer after that, is that file on the other computer gonna be tagged as well?
