I've noticed something I consider a bug though : when using single instance, <items> shoud be used and they are quoted, while with multi-instance they're not, unless I quote it myself: "<items>"

uh? <base>, <curbase> and <curfolder> can be part of file specs and hence must not be quoted. To quote <items> always cannot harm. Or?
Couple of other various things I noticed, related to UDC or not :
- Parameters are supported only for "Open With" - Could they be supported for "Open" also. So one could use it to launch an app with parameters, but without any link to selected items or anything ?

Unfortunately necessary because of auto-complete path. Else the ESC to close the drop-down will also close the dialog. There might a way out using subclassing but I did not bother...
- Catalog: how about adding Move To, Copy To, Rename, ... as supported actions too ?

- Catalog: "?:\Program Files\App.exe" gets the Find icon (for Name Search) instead of the app's icon ("..\App.exe" works fine)
