Hi,

I have customised the colours of the tree and list backgrounds to provide for a darker viewing experience, a kind of night-mode. This works fine until I open the preview pane, typically to view the contents of some text file, where the background is the more standard light grey.

Is it possible to customise the background colour of the preview pane?

Locate the clrPreviewPane=0 in the config file. (Open configuration file...) Replace 0 with 1 for black color, save the file, then restart XY without saving.

Not a great solution. The dark background is only applicable when no file selected in list.

It is not entirely true. Try to select a picture.
