Multi-threading

Can Xyplorer get multi-threading? Right now I have to wait for one task to be finished(like creating thumbnails) before a new task(like opening a new tab) .

But there are certain workarounds (scripted 2nd instances), to do the task you mentioned this is an excellent script to perform thumbnail cache generation in the background:

You can also just press Escape to stop thumbnail generation, if you want to quickly open a new tab.
