My current workflow demands constant switching between web-platforms and XY list, but Drop-Text-To-File is killing it. How can I turn it off, please?

I don't think you can turn it off. If it helps, and you probably already realize this anyway, but you can press escape while still holding the mouse down, but without dropping the text to cancel the drop.

The closest circumvention I'm applying is alt+tabbing, selecting a file and running my auto-comment script, a nuisance when compared to simply clicking on the backgrounded XY window - which by itself reacts as if a drop text occurred, which now leads me to think it is probably a bug rather than a feature.
