Locking the Size Column

How does one lock the unit for the Size of each Tab so that each is unique and not the same moving moving from Tab to Tab?

Not possible. That setting is global per pane.

Sorry everyone. First the question was not as articulate as is should have been.
After hours of investigation located the source of the problem. Was done in by an arrant click. While making a number of program adjustments for the second half of the year, in the Right Click Menu for Size the selected option got changed from Flexible to GB. That seemingly minuscule alteration lead to monumental difficulties.
