Add Default Windows Open Action to Custom Open Menu for Metro App Availability

Basically add the default Windows "Open" command, as seen on the right click menu, to the custom menu as a selection so that blasted metro-style apps can still be used as a custom open option?
Or, some other way of making a metro-style app be involved with the custom open menu?
