Tools | Customize List | Show Grid
Configuration | Colors and Styles | More Colors | Grid style = Grid Lines
Configuration | Colors and Styles | Styles | Vertical grid lines in details view
Configuration | Colors and Styles | Colors | Grid

Tools | Customize List | Checkbox Selection
