Hello,
I cannot solve my copy paste issue. I tired different setting such as the 64 bit menu setting. My issues is - I drag and drop or copy paste and it always make a copy instead of just overwriting. I have to be overlooking the obvious. Thanks for the help.

You do have these two enabled?
Configuration | File Operations | File Operations | Custom Copy Operations | Use Custom Copy
Configuration | File Operations | File Operations | Custom Copy Operations | For all copy operations

And after clicking this button:
Configuration | File Operations | File Operations | Custom Copy Operations | Configure...
On name collisions:
is set to "Overwrite"?

Thanks for the support.
I unchecked this one and changed the setting to over write - works like it should.
Configuration | File Operations | File Operations | Custom Copy Operations | For all copy operations

-When opening a ZIP file and pasting or dragging it still makes copies.

If I am understanding you properly, what you describe is standard zip file behavior, it isn't actually making a copy, what you are seeing is a file being extracted from a archive, but the zip file is being left intact.

I have this same problem -
I've tried both:
====== method 1: These enabled, per username highend ======
Configuration | File Operations | File Operations | Custom Copy Operations | Use Custom Copy
Configuration | File Operations | File Operations | Custom Copy Operations | For all copy operations
Configuration | File Operations | File Operations | Custom Copy Operations | Configure...
On name collisions: set to "Overwrite"?

===== method 2: Per username SAP who said: ========
I unchecked this one and changed the setting to over write - works like it should.
Configuration | File Operations | File Operations | Custom Copy Operations | For all copy operations

Neither method 1 or 2 work for me. To clarify, this occurs when pasting files from a remote terminal session.

Thanks,
John

Checking to see if anyone else has a solution to this? I copy and paste all day long and have resorted to leaving Explorer open so I can copy and paste files into directories. If it could just prompt me or get rid of the suffix would be great.
