get XY icons

Despite being omnipresent, even being fully functional like under conjunction with sc popupmenu, I find it weird XY icons cannot be retrieved via script command.

Yes, I have a lister for that purpose...
Just needed a
text toolbar( , , 1);
hint, which was gave me via PM.

Anyone able to tell me the earliest XY version supporting the trick, please...?
My default 16.80 won't like it.

That script uses a check for that specific version. Not at a computer currently...
