How to install XYplorer 18.10?

I'm setting up a new laptop, and installed XYplorer 17.40. Then from the Help menu I updated the app. A message was displayed that this will not affect my current license. Well, that was not true, because after I started XYplorer it said I need a new license for this version. Hmmmm.
How do I get version 18.10 with my current license?

I am not sure what license you have, or if it should have been effected or not though, what license type do you have? some only include 1 year of upgrades, but I see the point you are making that it said your license would be ok via the internal upgrade.

Yes, I believe I have the 1 year license.
