Restore File Operation

Good morning all,
When developing in certain folders, I have started using the XY Backup File Operation. So many options w/just a mouse drag or shortcut, really developed feature. Is there a similar feature that would allow me to "restore"/overwrite the original file when dragging a -01, -02, etc. file just as quickly ? Right now I just delete the original and manually rename one of the backups that I have in the folder. If there was a Restore feature w/similar options, it would allow you to backup, work, test and restore any version very quickly.

I am still reading the help file on the topic and searching the forum. Please let me know if there is an existing method/shortcut that I haven't found yet.

Many thanks !

One thing I usually do in a similar situation is select the original and then the -01 and use the

#175 File | File Special | Swap Names (Ctrl+Shift+F2)

or SC swapnames;

feature, but I have it assigned to a button instead and then manually delete the suffixed copy, if you were doing it really regularly you might want to script it to do the delete for you simultaneously as well.

WOW :appl: ! That is a great way to do it. I had never explored that sub-menu before. Thank you for the tip. For my layout, I think I'll add this to the Hamburger menu.
