Hide Parent Folders in Mini Tree? (Or treat selectee folder as root)

Post by tom_01 »

Hi,

Is there a way to hide the parent directories in the Mini Tree? I pretty much spend all of my time in Dropbox, but I have my Dropbox folder buried down in several folders, so my Mini Tree always has useless folders. See attached screenshot.

Thanks,
Tom

Not as far as I know, depending on your workflow, I would suggest using the catalog instead of the Mini Tree where you could achieve something similar to what you want, or you could map your DropBox folder to a drive letter, and continue using the Mini Tree

Thank you. Good suggestions. I will look into the catalogs.

I've been planning something like this for a long time: map certain folders to "virtual" top folders that are listed right under This PC (similar like "Desktop" or "Documents", but fully user-defined). One day I'll find the time...
