Notes per file in category

I was hoping one can add a category for notes per file, sorry if I missed this in recent releases ?

I'm reading the docs on comments but how do I apply a comment to a file to be seen in the comment column ?

How did you add the Comment column initially? I ask because there is another column called "Comments" instead of "Comment" and that is something different, which you could of gotten by adding it via Add Column/ Select Property

If you right click on the Name column header and then select Comment from there (its #17 on my system) it should work.

Or you could try entering this in the address bar, it should work for you:

it should add the correct "Comment" column to the far right of details view, if it isn't already visible.

I have the comment column enabled. I selected the file, followed by Favorites > comment; entered a comment, but that comment isn't showing in the comment column for the file ?

Then it is probably this setting that you could have disabled, make sure it is enabled:

Configuration | Information | Tags | Show tags in file list
