Hi Donald
If I select a file that's simultaneously opened in an app and view the "File view" or "Preview" tabs, the file seems to be in use by TV3 from the apps view - therefore I can't save it aso.
It happened with a cad application, but when I tried to reproduce it with a word file it didn't do it.
Bug or as designed?
Thanks

Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).
We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.
When attaching an Image, please use the Attachment tab at the bottom of your post and click "Add files".

Re: File view or Preview marks file as in use
Neither a bug nor designed. It's reality! To preview a file is to use it. At least in most cases. Pictures are read into memory and the file is freed immediately. But hex view of binaries keeps the file open until you explicitly close the file view (by unselecting the file).RalphM wrote:Bug or as designed?
