I am probably really grossly overlooking something. But I can not get this task done.

I have a music directory. In it, 80+ folders and sub-folders with a mix of MP3 and FLAC files.
I want to move all the FLAC files to another directory, copying also the folder structure in the new directory.

So if I have files

music\a\1.flac
music\a\1a.mp3
music\b\2.flac
music\b\2b.mp3
music\b\c\3.flac

I want to copy only the FLACs to directory new so I get
new\a\1.flac
new\b\2.flac
new\b\c\3.flac

How do I do it? Thanks so much. I do have a registered version, if that's of concern.

For the whole process to work, make sure that:
Configuration | General | Menus, Mouse, Safety | Context Menus | Custom drag and drop context menu
is checked!

Display both panes (Menu - Panes - Dual Pane)
Use the right / lower as the destination and create the new root folder there (in your example: "new")

For an easier experience from here, add these two buttons to the toolbar:
Branch View + Type Stats and Filter. The Branch View button should already exist in a default installation...

On the left / upper switch to branch view (while in the music folder) by right clicking
on the branch view toolbar icon and select "Files Only", followed by a left click on the
Type Stats and Filter icon and choose only the .flac files
Now the left / upper pane shows only .flac files without any folder structures
Btw, you could do this without the Type Stats and Filter toolbar icon by using a
name search for *.flac instead

Finally, select all .flac files (Ctrl + a), right click them, hold this mouse button! and
drag this selection into the right / lower pane. Release the right mouse button
You get a context menu, choose: Rich copy here

I did not know there is a difference between left-button drag and right-button drag!
