XY vs. Directory Opus - it is not even close!

I sent the following to Directory Opus twice and they have NOT responded (just as I expected)

"Hi Leo or staff,
I want to purchase you pro version and have just two concerns.
1. ERROR CANT CLICK FULL LINE OR ROW C^ 8-01-06_7630 attached screen
capture. It is important to me to be able to select a line by clicking
ANYWHERE on that line. I think that is what you intended but - it is not
happening for me here. I hope you will clarify this 'minor' error.
2. The following was posted on the XY newsgroup a couple of days ago.
THIS is serious IMHO. I have been at computers since 1980 and have never
encountered this problem before - this includes all the MSoft File
Explorers going back 38 years.
This morning I verified that the Win 10 M$ File Explorer NOW has this
very same problem as I have experienced with Opus - before starting Opus.
Can you fix this? I have the latest Win 10 Pro version. Is there a
chance that files may be lost because of this problem?
Is this a major problem or not?
z
Respectfully,
Pat
Opus apparently has a folder tree problem. The top part of the tree - all
folders are empty. The same folders listed further down - everything
appears to be correct and works as expected.
That same problem has apparently also been infecting the win10 M$ File
Explorer."
... See other Opus post please.

While waiting for Leo or Opus to respond - I finally started testing Opus search ability. Being able to accurately find things is critical to me and no doubt most others.
Test 1 XY found 620 Opus found 595 (I could explain most with 'no space' between words.)
Test 2 XY 955 Opus 739 could explain most per above.
Test 3 XY 1251 Opus 40 only? "Everything" by Void.com 1261
The small difference between XY and Everything apparently has a non harmful explanation IMHO. The exact search string was pasted into all three programs to ensure a proper test.
Conclusion:
Opus failed miserably and is not acceptable - on the lack of search ability alone! (and the non response to my email)
This morning I Restored my PC Win 10 back to 1-4-17 to get rid of Opus and hopefully the 'Folder Tree' problem.
This got rid of OPUS but NOT the Folder Tree problem in MS File Explorer. (XY did NOT have any such problems)
Look at the attached captures and you can see that G1,G2, G3 red icons are missing at top of display - both before and after Restore.
Questions:
Is there a way to fix this in the MS Explorer?
Should I just ignore this as being non harmful?
If anyone here contemplate purchasing Opus then please check the searching ability FIRST - I went through all the settings etc. and came up with some really nice screens - a total waste of time.
Do not forget the tree problem - Opus infection.
I hope the tree problem is non serious - had it been serious then the Restore should have fixed it (just a wild guess by me.)
Pat
PS. Please look at the names and file numbers of the attached screen captures. Thanks again all here at XY.
