Thumbnail creation Create all tweak.

Can we get a tweak to thumbnail creation? I really want to use "Create all thumbnails at once" but since it creates them from top to bottom you have to wait and wait and wait to get to the portion you want to see. I would like to see it create all the thumbnails but start with thumbs that are on your screen at the time. In addition sometime if feels like i cant navigate away from that folder until it is done processing them. I would like it to just stop processing the folder if i navigate away.
