what i can't do it with xyplorer
I beg to differ...
Name & Location - Name:
Code: Select all
prop:System.Image.Dimensions:"4899 x 4899"
or
Code: Select all
prop:#image.dimensions:"4899 x 4899"
so i would like to export a list of a bunch of files from total commander
How would that be done? Menu - Mark - Save Selection To File?

That file does not seem to contain full paths, only the file names...
or is there a way to copy a file selection from total commander and paste in xyplorer?
Paste the clipboard content (after selecting items in TC, menu - Mark - Copy Names With Path To Clipboard) into a paperfolder .txt file via "Paste Special - Paste Text Into New File" in XY

I have never used Total Commander so can't help with the exporting part but if you are able to get a text file that's just full of absolute file paths without quotes you can just put the file in your "<xydata>\paper" folder, lets say you name it "totalcommander.txt" and then you can just type "paper:totalcommander" in the address bar to have them all visible in the list ready for tagging or alternatively you can have the text file located anywhere and use e.g "paper:C:\Users\User\TotalCommander.txt" adjusting to the correct path of course.

You have to do this in the <xydata>\paper folder!
And then you use paper:<base name of the file you've just created>
to display all items in it...
