Previously I was using junctions and symbolic links until I discovered the Admin.ini settings to accomplish moving Data folder etc, so thanks yet again for this feature and a truly fantastic app.

I can't seem to get native or XY environment variables to work in the Admin.ini under both the [AccessControl] and [Paths] sections, it's no big deal for me to hard code the paths if its troublesome to fix but I just thought I'd make you aware, if indeed there is a problem because according to the help file it should work.

e.g. entries

• HiddenItems=%USERREAL%\Saved Games

or

• HiddenItems=%USERPROFILE%\Saved Games

I couldn't get to work, but listing the absolute path works.

I do NOT see environment and XYplorer native variables supported in the [Paths] part according to the help file
And regarding [AccessControl], support for these are only mentioned directly for the keys:
AllowedDirs
DisallowedDirs

Ah I see, I should have known that me misunderstanding was the issue and not the software, sorry to have wasted your time, feel free to delete this pointless thread if possible.

I'll move this thread to Wishes. I might add support for Environment Variables later.
