OneDrive folder not showing

I've seen some posts about OneDrive problems, so maybe this is related -- IDK. My Laptop was recently "reimaged" at work and the app for OneDrive was in the image bundle. It's probably OneDrive for business I guess. The OneDrive account that it is synced to is my personal account though.
You can see in the image that the dir C:\Users\swkunkel\OneDrive does exsist and I can browse to it with the BCbar droplist. It doesn't show up in the pane or the tree though. View style (thumbs, details, list, ...) doesn't matter.
It does show up in the default File Explorer for Win 10.

Does it help if you tick this?
Configuration | General | Tree and List | Items in Tree and List | Show junctions

Good. But I think it should also work without that setting. Let's see what I can do...

It's easy to do but a drag to do it fast. These Creators Updates destroy the beauty of NTFS. They are crossing lines now. Abusing general file flags to promote a product is evil.
I need to know: What file attributes has the OneDrive folder? Select the folder in the file list, run this script and post the return, please:

17? That's not a junction. I understood that OneDrive folders in Creators Update always are junctiions?
Anyway, the OP's OneDrive folder must be a junction else there wouldn't be a problem.

So your OneDrive folder also shows in the tree when this is OFF:
Configuration | General | Tree and List | Items in Tree and List | Show junctions
?
PS: Maybe you have to turn on the On-Demand Files feature?

So your OneDrive folder also shows in the tree when this is OFF:
Nope
On demand-files was on by default
I've added a document online, and set it to "Always keep" in XYplorer via context menu
afterwards.
Now
shows: 1073 for that folder...

Thanks.
So there is not chance to improve this. You HAVE TO tick this if your want to see OneDrive:
Configuration | General | Tree and List | Items in Tree and List | Show junctions
Direct your complaints to MS.

Has there been any change in the way MS does things now to be able to improve this, without needing to turn on "Show junctions?"

I just installed XYPlorer and the "Show junctions" is also checked, but I don't see my two OneDrive accounts folders in the tree.
