Using the tab key for left justification alignment

Hi Don, in an XYplorer menu, I was hoping to obtain a left hand alignment or justification for a second column as shown in the capture below. Normally in a text editor, even a simple one like notepad, you can physically tab over by pressing the tab key and you can align text left justified as in a column. In XYplorer menu however, if you use the tab key it translates in a menu to the same as using the <tab> variable constant. Which means any text after the inserted tab or the <tab> character ends up being right justified as shown in this post here. viewtopic.php?f=7&t=18062#p153613

Is there anyway you could have a tab inserted by using the tab key act like it normally would in a regular text file so that you could align text left justified? Or possibly some other distinction in how the tab via the keyboard versus <tab> translates in the display. The <tab> character would still result in right justification. I accomplished the left justified column look in the capture by using spaces which is not only a pain in the a?? but since the text is in a non mono-space font the alignment is never accurate. Thank you.

You must listen to a lot of music while coding.

Yep, this app is done under the influence. But just when designing, not while coding proper. Too distracting.
